Judge William J. Haddad (Retired), Chairman of AMVOTE-PAC (first Arab-American Political Action Committee in Illinois history) announced that AMVOTE is hosting its Inaugural Dinner at the Marriott-Oak Brook on January 28, 2016 with Dr. James Zogby, President of the Arab-American Institute in Washington D.C. Judge Haddad is invites our community to come out and support AMVOTE-PAC:
"The reason politicians humiliate our people with hate speech these days is that they don't pay a political price for it. AMVOTE is the answer!"
AMVOTE-PAC was organized by community leaders to harness "voting clout" to open new opportunities in politics, government, business, employment, education and equal rights. After AMVOTE was certified in October of 2014, it was instrumental in forcing the first mayoral run-off election in Chicago history last February, and facilitating the election of five Aldermen and suburban school board candidates on a very slim budget.
Dr. James Zogby is AMVOTE'S honored guest on the 28th. Among the other guests are Hon. Timothy Evans, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County and Aldermen Pat O'Connor (40th) and Debra Silverstein (50th) "and others".
Inaugural Dinner is on January 28, 2016 at the Marriott-Oakbrook. For tickets contact AMVOTE 312-985-6862 (firstname.lastname@example.org) or go to amvote.org.
