“Why should there be hunger and deprivation in any land, in any city, at any table, when man has the resources and the scientific know-how to provide all mankind with the basic necessities of life? There is no deficit in human resources. The deficit is in human will.” -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Each year, Martin Luther King Jr. Day is marked by a Day of Service to honor his legacy.

On Sunday, January 19th, 2020, to commemorate this important American holiday, the Arab American Generations series will join Islamic Relief USA and other community groups to combat hunger. By collaborating and summoning the human will, the goal is to assemble over 100,000 meals to help our neighbors in Alexandria and DC!

Join us on January 19th to honor Dr. King through service.
