Over the course of the next several weeks, the U.S. Senate will hold confirmation hearings for many of President-elect Donald Trump's nominees for Cabinet positions and key Ambassadors. 9:30am: General James Mattis Confirmation Hearing - Secretary of Department of Defense (Senate Armed Services Committee)

10:00am: Rep. Mike Pompeo Confirmation Hearing - CIA Director (Senate Intel)

Wednesday, Jan. 18th

10:00am: Gov. Nikki Haley confirmation hearing for Ambassador to the United Nations (Senate Foreign Relations Committee)
