The DREAM Act (Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act), will be voted on in Congress today. In our previous post on the DREAM Act, we iterated that the bill, if passed, would enable college-bound kids who meet certain conditions, many of whom were brought to this country as babies or toddlers, to obtain a green card and remain productive members of American society. The DREAM Act’s lead sponsor is Senator Durbin (D-IL) and we urge you to call your Senators and Representatives today to say that you support the DREAM Act.
Stay tuned for more updates, and we willl keep you informed on this bill as it hits the floor.
Also, let us know your thoughts. What do you think of the DREAM Act? Do you think it will pass?
