The Carnegie Middle East Center has put together a useful guide to the crisis in Syria, with fairly comprehensive portraits of the coalitions, parties and movements, and personalities involved in the 17-month uprising. It also archives some of the most important documents to come out of the conflict, including the UN Security Council Resolutions, statements by the Syrian National Council, the Annan plan, and others.

It’s a great resource given the dizzying pace of developments in Syria.
