The Arab American Institute has been proud to be a part of helping to reinvorate the Congressional Caucus on U.S.-Lebanon Relations earlier this year. We did so because we believed that it was vitally important to focus the U.S. House of Representatives on Lebanon’s urgent needs.
Currently comprised of 10 members of Congress, 6 Republicans and 4 Democrats, the Caucus is an important step forward in making sure that Lebanon is notignored.. The caucus is co-chaired by two Lebanese Americans, Rep. Darrell Issa (R, CA-49) Rep. Gwen Graham (D, FL-2), who recently asked for more members to join with a letter, writing “A stable Middle East is in the best interests of our nation, and our relationship with Lebanon is one of the most important in the Middle East. The caucus on U.S.-Lebanon relations will serve as an informal, bipartisan group of members dedicated to maintaining and strengthening the U.S.- Lebanese relationship.”
Join their appeal and help us expand the caucus by urging your Representative to join.
The current list of caucus members include:
