Is your child interested in studying Arabic? Would you like your child to get a real sense of Middle Eastern culture while growing in a nurturing environment with other youths?

The King’s Academy offers high school students from the United States the opportunity to experience the culture of the Middle East in Jordan while enrolled in an intensive Arabic language study. With fellow students and professional teachers, the program is the gateway to Middle Eastern cultural immersion and experiential learning.

The program is designed for youths in grades 10 through 12. The program offers a community space where Middle Eastern and American students can get to know one another, allowing students to engage in conversations on politics, history, and cultural developments. The boarding school is modeled after the Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts.

The program of study consists of courses in Arabic, English, mathematics, physical and life sciences, history and social studies.

The Arabic Year Program at King’s Academy is committed to introducing students to the essentials of classical Arabic language, exposing youth to the region’s culture, and instilling values of integrity, community, respect and global citizenship.
