For the past 30 years, we’ve made sure that our community is organized and prepared. Today is no different.
We’ve reached thousands of Arab American voters with our Yalla Vote program, amplified and supported Arab American public servants and community leaders through our leadership development programs, and fostered the next generation of Arab Americans through internships and scholarships. In everything we do, we’ve been vocal and resolute in our rejection of bigotry. The solidarity and strength we’ve seen develop through these programs drives our work.
We wrote to you last month to let you know that you we’re ready to work even harder and we have a plan to do it. We’ve already started launching resources for reporting discrimination, and materials to educate lawmakers, community members and allies on the dangers of unconstitutional and undemocratic policies that were proposed during the campaign. In the coming weeks we are expanding our advocacy programs and want to hire additional attorneys to assist in pushing back on these policies -- But we need your support to continue our work.
We are proud that during some of our country’s most challenging times, the Arab American Institute was on the front lines - fighting for you. Today is no different.
We were founded to fight.
With your support, we will continue.
