As dramatic upheavals sweep the Arab World, Arab public opinion matters more than ever, both to regional leaders and to the United States. Public opinion polls have consistently demonstrated the central role of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in shaping the Arab world view, and with the Arab American Institute's most recent polling showing U.S. standing at an all-time low, AAI President Jim Zogby will discuss the Palestinian bid for statehood at the UN, the intended veto by the United States at the Security Council and the implications it will have on our standing in the Arab world.
