AAI’S NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
“OUR VOICE. OUR FUTURE. YALLA VOTE ‘08!”
Fact Sheet for Community Endorsers
Community organizations have been invited to endorse AAI’s 2008 election year program “OUR VOICE. OUR FUTURE. YALLA VOTE ‘08!” to empower and engage Arab Americans in the issues and races this election cycle. See Campaign Endorsement Benefits for details about Yalla Vote 2008 endorsement benefits.
The launch of this important campaign takes place at AAI’s 2007 National Leadership Conference, October 26-28, in Dearborn Michigan. Program and logistical details are online www.aaiusa.org. Endorsers of the Yalla Vote 2008 program and other community-based organizations are invited to participate in the conference to show the strength and reach of our ethnic constituency.
Community Cosponsors will be recognized in NLC materials. The basic level of participation is to be represented by at least two (2) registrants at the conference. For organizations who can register at least six (6) individuals for the full conference, their involvement will be recognized as follows:
• Consideration for a program role, either as discussant or presenter, during the conference weekend
• Recognition in NLC promotional materials, signage and banquet program
• A reserved table for ten (10) at the Yalla Vote ‘08 Gala Banquet on October 26. That’s four complimentary tickets for extra guests, — a $400 value!
Your organization may register its members on a Group Registration Form or have them register online as individuals, indicating their affiliation with your group. Community Cosponsor registrations should be prepaid no later than Oct. 12, 2007.
If you have questions about the conference, please contact Yasmeen Shaheen-McConnell at YShaheenMcConnell@aaiusa.org or (202) 429-9210, ext. 30.
We look forward to seeing you in Dearborn!
