The Young Arab Leaders (YAL) organization’s delegation to the Clinton Global Initiative held a meeting with Head of the Arab American Institute James Zogby and a group of young Americans of Arab origin.
During the meeting issues of mutual cooperation were discussed besides various vital issues of interest to Arab youth all over the world.
Since its establishment, YAL has outlined its objectives clearly, which relate to the need to develop the Arab region through developing the abilities of Arab youth. This mission would require great effort and endeavor that goes beyond the borders of the Arab world; the organization therefore continually works hard on creating and reinforcing liaisons with international parties in order to accomplish its goals.
The meeting between the delegation and Arab-American youth represents a strategic step to widen international relations and to activate YAL’s operations in all parts of the world, which in turn would benefit the region in enabling Arab youth to lead the development process in the future.
During the meeting various topics of interest to the Arab youth were brought under discussed. The meeting created an ideal opportunity for both parties to exchange views, experiences and opinions on the concerns and threats that hinder the development process among the youth, and the two parties mutually agreed on the importance of strengthening constructive communication and interaction in order to achieve the set goals.
