General James Jones, Tina Tchen to speak at Arab American Leadership Summit

United States National Security Advisor General James L. Jones will address the Leadership Summit’s closing session on Monday, October 26. General Jones will brief Summit attendees on the Obama Administration’s continuing efforts to achieve just and lasting Middle East peace.

The joint session with J Street, “Advancing a Pro-Peace Agenda”, will feature J Street’s executive director Jeremy Ben-Ami and AAI’s president and founder, Dr. James Zogby.

Arab American and Jewish American leaders will have an opportunity to collaborate in an open discussion of how to forge a just, lasting and comprehensive resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, one that will result in two states, Palestine and Israel, living side by side in peace and security.

In addition, Tina Tchen, Deputy Assistant to the President and the White House Director of the Office of Public Engagement, will address a joint session at the Arab American Institute’s Fall Leadership Summit.
