On Tuesday, May 19, the Saban Center for Middle East Policy will host the unveiling of the 2009 University of Maryland/Zogby International Public Opinion Poll, revealing long-term trends and surprising revelations about perceptions of the United States and its President in the Middle East.
The new results will be presented by Shibley Telhami, Principal Investigator of the poll, Saban Center Nonresident Senior Fellow and Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland. He will be joined by James Zogby, founder and president of the Arab American Institute, presenting additional results that shed light on attitudes in the Middle East towards the new U.S. Administration.
