If you live in New York or New Jersey, you’re in luck! AAI is holding a Yalla Vote ’08 voter engagement training New Brunswick, NJ to provide Arab Americans with the skills they need in order to organize effectively this election season and beyond. This training will be held on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29, and follows successful workshops we have organized for AAI members in Dearborn, MI and Washington, DC.

Professionals from the renowned political organizing operation Wellstone Action will conduct a special 2-day, interactive workshop focusing on key campaign tactics from “Get Out the Vote” operations to media outreach. Participants will learn how to mobilize friends and neighbors around AAI’s Our Voice. Our Future. Yalla Vote ’08 national campaign. This summer and fall, AAI members across the country will be conducting GOTV, bringing issue concerns to candidates, registering new voters, and much more. Come to New Brunswick on June 28 and 29 and find out how to pitch in and be a key part of Yalla Vote ’08 in your area!
