The American Divide: How We View Arabs, Muslims
and the Middle East Conflict
Arab American Institute to Release U.S. Public Opinion Data Ahead of
Republican and Democratic National Conventions
Over the summer of 2012, the Arab American Institute conducted a poll: The American Divide: How We View Arabs, Muslims and the Middle East Conflict. AAI will release the results of the poll next week at a press briefing hosted by AAI president Dr. Jim Zogby. The poll will be released in conjunction with more than a decade’s-worth of polling data that tracks the shifts in public opinion regarding Arabs, Muslims and the Middle East. Among others, The American Divide will answer the following questions:
- What are American attitudes toward Arabs and Muslims?
- How do Americans feel the next president should conduct Middle East Policy?
- Do Democrats and Republicans have different views of Arabs and Muslims and the Middle East?
AAI maintains the most extensive public archive of Arab and American public opinion data on issues relating to Arabs, Muslims and U.S. policy in the region. View AAI's opinion polls.
