Official Campaign Website

Phone: (888) 321-6675

Rick Santorum has represented Pennsylvania in both the House and the Senate. Santorum is seen as a social and fiscal conservative. He is strongly pro-life, believes that Planned Parenthood should not receive government funding, and wants to repeal “ObamaCare.” Santorum opposes benefits for undocumented immigrants and supports a border fence as well the institutionalization of English as the only official language. In relation to Iran, he believes that “these radical Islamists are on the verge of having a nuclear weapon”, that strict sanctions should be imposed, and the U.S. should refuse to negotiate on any level with it. Santorum strongly believes that the U.S. should stand by Israel and has claimed that “no Palestinians” live in the West Bank. He has also said that civil law must align with “a higher law: God’s law.”. Santorum believes that since “China and Islam are competing for the hearts and minds” of Africans, the U.S. should continue to give humanitarian aid to Africa.

Official Statements

"We need a reinvigorated human-intelligence apparatus in the Middle East so we can better understand who and where are enemies are and then identify opportunities to counteract them and support allies and would-be allies."

"We must cease our verbal, moral, and diplomatic equivalence as between good and evil. Syria does not deserve an ambassador; its protesters deserve support; Israeli housing starts should not be put on the same moral plane as Hamas terror attacks; and China should be challenged on religious liberty rather than be given a veto on the human-rights activists we wish support."

"We must stand by Israel, especially at a time when it appears increasingly to be standing alone. The recent dislocation of the old order in the Middle East will usher in a new one, and anti-Israeli elements are working overtime to take advantage of the opportunity."

"We need to keep and expand our commitment to humanitarian aid, especially in Africa. China and Islam are competing for the hearts and minds of much of Africa, and we cannot turn our back from the investment and commitments we have made. I helped lead many of our efforts to address third-world debt and the global AIDS crisis, and our investments have paid off."

"Our nation’s leaders must be honest with the American people and call this war what it is, a War with Radical Islam."

Key Advisors

Lucas Draisey

Lucas Draisey, Santorum's Iowa Field Director, posted on Facebook that the U.S. was overcautious in avoiding civilian casualties in Iraq, and should have "parked lotted the place, and rebuilt it, ala Japan."

Nick Ryan and Jill Latham

Ryan and Latham, advisors for Santorum, were involved in the American Future Fund which produced a number of anti-Park 51 advertisements.
