Overview of the November Elections
With the midterm elections just over three months away, races are heating up all over the country. There are 37 states that will be electing governors on November 2nd, along with 435 House seats and 36 Senate seats up for grabs.
There are a number of resources available to keep you updated on political races across the country. CQ Politics has three race rating maps for the House, Senate, and Governor races this November, showing the likelihood of each seat going to a Democrat or Republican. Real Clear Politics Election 2010 offers up the latest political polls in addition to maps for the House, Senate and Governor races. For information on individual candidates, you can always visit your state's election website, along with other non-partisan sites such as Project Vote Smart or Smart Voter by the League of Women Voters.
