ADC and the ADC Women's Initiative, in partnership with Alwan for the Arts, are proudly hosting the second annual Turaath: Celebrating Arab Culture in America event on Saturday, December 1, 2012. This event will take place at the historic Lincoln Theatre on U Street in Washington, DC the same stage where jazz icon Duke Ellington once performed!

*If you haven't heard already, this year's program features all types of music and dance. The Alwan Arab Music Ensemble will showcase classical, folk, and popular Arab music with vocalists George Ziadeh and Lubana Al Quntar, also featured is the Two Rivers Arab Jazz Ensemble, and Traditional & Modern Arab Dance.
