Jobs on the Campaign Trail
One of the best ways to get started in politics is to join a campaign. You can find jobs for specific candidates through their campaign websites, or check out the national Democratic and Republican party websites for openings across the country.
An often-overlooked avenue for Arab Americans to join public service is through the presidential appointment process. Over the course of a single presidency, the administration seeks to fill more than 8,000 public service leadership and high-level support positions, and governing spots on advisory boards, commissions, and other bodies within the federal government.
