On the one-year anniversary of the 2016 presidential election, the panel will discuss the state of voting rights across the country, additional and potential barriers in place since the 2016 election, and what changes are on the horizon either in legislatures or the courts. The discussion will include what could be done in Congress to improve voting rights for 2018 and beyond. Panelists: Nicole Austin-Hillery (Brennan Center for Justice); Jeanette Senecal (League of Women Voters of the United States); Jennifer Bellamy (ACLU); Danielle Lang (The Campaign Legal Center).
