AAI NPC member Ashraf Hegazy and AAI member and Massachusetts Democratic State Executive Committee member Mushtaque Mirza organized a meeting for MA Arab American Democrats in conjunction with a meeting hosted by the Muslim Democratic Leaders of Massachusetts. Speakers included Deval Patrick, whose strong grass roots campaign secured him the State party’s endorsement for Governor, and Debbie Goldberg, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor. Hegazy and Mirza are forming an organization, Arab Americans for Deval Patrick, and any Arab American interested in participating may contact Mirza at mushtaquealikhan@yahoo.com and/or Hegazi at hegazy1@yahoo.com
