Sami Merhi is working hard on his write-in campaign for New Jersey’s Passaic County Freeholder. Merhi, whose nomination for the Freeholder seat was torpedoed by the Passaic County Democratic Party a week after that same body extended its support to him, is printing 50,000 pamphlets that will be mailed across Passaic County seeking support. Local Arab Americans can support Merhi by casting their votes for him by writing in his name on the June 6 ballot and publicizing his efforts to other Passaic County voters.
