Congratulations to Floridian Al Maloof, the newly elected chairman of Miami-Dade County’s Planning Board, who plans to tackle property affordability in South Florida. Maloof served on Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s transition team and helped coordinate fundraising events for President Bush’s 2004 re-election campaign.
