This past Saturday, May 17 was National Arab American Service Day, with Arab American groups in 16 cities throughout the country organizing projects to help out their local communities. In Washington, DC, the AAI Foundation partnered with the Network of Arab-American Professionals (NAAP) and ServeDC to volunteer at an elementary school in the District.


Arab Americans from the area joined students from the school and local residents to paint a mural and participate in games with the kids, all with the goal of gang prevention through positive action. Thanks to all who helped out at Service Days across the country!
