Please join us for a discussion with Arab American communications strategist Rachel Palermo on Thursday, February 23rd from 6:00 -8:00 PM. She is currently an Associate at SKDKnickerbocker where she builds and executes messaging strategy for progressive advocacy groups. We’ll get the chance to hear about Rachel’s experiences and connect with Arab American students and professionals.

Before joining SKDK this January, Rachel served as assistant press secretary and director of women’s media for the Democratic National Committee. Previously, she held various roles at organizations across politics and government, including American Bridge 21st Century, Precision Strategies, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

Rachel is a proud Arab American. Her mother is from the village of Toula in Batroun, Lebanon, and Rachel was born and raised in Minnesota. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from St. Olaf College.
