Viewpoint with James Zogby: David Cole

David Cole, Professor of law and constitutional expert was on the show for the full hour to talk about civil liberties and constitutional rights that have come under attack in recent years. Cole gave a tutorial break down of articles 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of the Bill of Rights in order to provide viewers with an understanding of current rights affected by recent national security concerns. He gave analysis of the constitutionality of many current issues under debate such as torture, indefinite detention without proper charges, and lack of access to due process. Cole took calls from viewers and engaged them on a personal level by speaking directly to individual legal questions.
