Would You Like a Tax-deduction with that Illegal Settlement?
New York Times recently reported on American organizations who support illegal settlement building in the occupied territories with tax-deductable contributions. They found, "at least 40 American groups that have collected more than $200 million in tax-deductible gifts for Jewish settlement in the West Bank and East Jerusalem over the last decade." This has been an issue of concern to us for some time and we welcome Yousef Munayyer's concrete policy recommendations to address what he calls an "obvious loophole in the U.S. foreign policy."
