Music Hath Charms…

The ensemble will be joined by violinist and Polyphony co-founder and Executive Director Nabeel Abboud-Ashkar. The concert is one in a series of events around the country, building awareness of Polyphony’s mission to provide classical music education to Arab Israelis who otherwise would not have it.

"We believe that education in and through music, humanities and the arts are foundations to just and fair societies and essential for harmonious, constructive and peaceful relations,” says Ashkar.

The concert will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, June 29 in the Dean Acheson Room at the US Department of State, 2201 C Street NW, Washington, DC. The event  is open to the public, but RSVPs are required. For more information, contact Ankit Desai. (Note that, for security purposes, non-State Department employees must RSVP by Monday, June 27th.)
