Michigan and More Reviews

After a delightful Thanksgiving weekend with my family, the book tour continued. Spent two days in Michigan - with events at Wayne State University and University of Michigan-Dearborn.  A highlight was a dinner hosted by Ahmed and Michelle Chebbani, head of the Arab American Chamber of Commerce. Guests included most of the Arab community's leadership and other local dignitaries including: the Mayor of Dearborn Heights; Shirley Stancato, the head of New Detroit; and Dr. Gail Mee, President of Henry Ford Community College. Both Dr. Mee and Shirley discussed plans for a return visit enabling me to present "Arab Voices" to their respective institutions.  It is always good to visit Metro Detroit.


Also had a great review in the New York Times Book Review and taped a number of TV shows (al Jazeera, PBS and CNN International).  The conversation continues -- and I'm excited it takes me to Utica, New York tonight.
