Jusoor to Host Reception for Syrian Community in DC
Jusoor, a global network designed to support the economic development of Syria , will be hosing members of the Syrian community in the D.C. area at the home of Munif and Suha Atassi for a reception on October 20th. The evening will feature an introduction to Jusoor, including their vision and the programming underway, as well as provide an opportunity to meet members of the local Syrian community.
The organization has previously offered accelerated admission and scholarship assistance for up to 50 Syrian undergraduates, and will be hosting their first annual global conference in November: "Syria 2025: A Forum for Engagement on Syria's Future"
