“Arab Voices” Launched!

I was so gratified by last night's reception. Ambassador al Otaiba's hospitality, his kind words of introduction and the great work of his staff provided Arab Voices with such a wonderful launch.
The crowd that came included individuals who were important to my early work. Edmund Ghareeb, who's work on Palestinian poetry helped inform and inspire my doctoral dissertation (that's almost 40 years ago!) was there, as was Mowahid Shah, who worked with me 30 years ago when I was running ADC. Mowahid and I together wrote ADC's first publication: The Other Anti-Semitism.
I was so pleased to share Arab voices with them. Tonight it's "Politics and Prose" - DC's "book central". I'm excited about that one. And still waiting for the first reviews!
