“60 Minutes” Under Fire for Coverage of Israeli Occupation

Earlier this week, we wrote about a segment on 60 Minutes that highlighted the effect of the Israeli occupation on Palestinian Christians, and encouraged you to email the show to thank them for their fair and comprehensive coverage.

Unfortunately, a large and organized campaign has sent tens of thousands of emails to the show, complaining that it was not sufficiently positive toward Israel.

Several organizations have launched write-in campaigns to counter this pressure tactic, including the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation, which has provided a sample email you can send to the show.

If you haven’t done so already, please take two minutes today to email 60m@cbsnews.com to thank them for their brave coverage and urge them to resist pressure to distort it.
