Arab American Heads Romney Campaign’s Eastern Iowa Effort

Crystal Bouziden is currently the Eastern Iowa Field Director for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Bouziden, a recent graduate of the University of Iowa, has previous campaign experience volunteering for the Bush/Cheney campaign in 2004 and interning on former Rep. Jim Nussle’s (R-IA) gubernatorial campaign in 2006. She has also interned for Rep. Jerry Weller (R-IL) in his Washington, D.C. office and Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) in his Cedar Rapids office.

Bouziden says she chose to support Romney because of his traditional family values, his private sector experience, and his proven ability to reach across the aisle to work with Democrats without sacrificing his conservative values.

Asked what she hoped to accomplish in her position on the campaign, Bouziden said, “. . . ultimately I hope to elect the next U.S. President! At the very least, I hope to encourage more Iowans to educate themselves politically and become more involved. I hope to empower conservatives in Iowa to help elect their next President.”
