Twenty Five Years – Together
In 2010, the Arab American Institute marks its 25th Anniversary.
Twenty five years of working with and for the Arab American community.
Twenty five years collaborations with our community’s best and brightest leaders.
Twenty five years of speaking up and speaking out; of moving up and moving forward.
Throughout the year, AAI will be celebrating where we’ve been and where we’re going. Together.
Click on the links below, and be sure to visit this page often to see the newest ways and the next places we’ll be celebrating this Silver Anniversary.
25 Years, 25 Items
AAI’s online 25th Anniversary Auction is now live! (Click here to view the auction gallery.) From art to travel, Palestinian handicrafts to lunch with Jim Zogby – we’ve got an amazing, diverse array of offerings – and something for every budget.
2010 Membership: Our Gift to You
To celebrate this anniversary, AAI has reduced its annual membership fee to just $25 — one dollar for each year that AAI has had the privilege to serve our community. Or show your support at $50 — $25 for where we’ve been, and $25 for where we’re going –together.
And if you can come on board at the $250 level, we’ll enter your name in a raffle to win a pair of Pearl Business Class round trip tickets to anywhere Etihad Airways flies! The drawing will be held on April 2, so don’t wait! Get your name in early!
Kahlil Gibran Spirit of Humanity Awards
Join us at the DC Renaissance Hotel on April 21, 2010, as we showcase the accomplishments of an amazing group of awardees, and celebrate the Arab American Institute’s quarter century of service, accomplishment, and leadership to our community and our nation. Click here to reserve your tickets.
The Face of AAI
Our members are the face of AAI. Our history is your history, and we’re taking this opportunity to share our collective story. Tell us what AAI has meant to you – what you think is our biggest contribution, our biggest accomplishment; why you became—and remained—committed to our mission; what you hope to see in the next 25 years. Send us your thoughts and your photo for our upcoming “Face of AAI” web page.
