With a challenging election cycle upon us, AAI’s Yalla Vote campaign is joining with the National Arab American Women’s Association in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) to answer your questions about the upcoming vote, as well as how the electoral system works. You’ll also hear about how you can become more involved in making sure Arab Americans get to the polls. With the recent uptick in bigotry and xenophobia, a lot is riding on this election and it’s important we make sure our community’s voice is heard.

Please save the date for this joint AAI and NAAWA event, Yalla Vote 2016: The Importance of Arab American Civic Engagement, on Saturday, September 17th from 12:30-2:30pm at the Woodrow Wilson Library in Falls Church, Virginia (6101 Knollwood Drive). This event is free and open to the public. Just RSVP here.

Remember, all across the country, Arab Americans are in key battleground states where we can have an impact – but that starts with you!
